We are a small primary school situated at the northern end of Craighouse village on the beautiful island of Jura off the west coast of Scotland.  Jura has outstanding scenery and a rich variety of wildlife, including red deer, otters and eagles.  The school is a friendly place with a happy family atmosphere and we have children from all parts of the island. 

Our school aims are:

To create a caring and relaxed environment in which each child is encouraged to develop his/her full potential in all areas of school work and life.

To encourage children to develop as independent, caring individuals who respect the views, opinions and beliefs of others.

To give each child a strong sense of responsibility for, and involvment in, their local community.

To foster strong links and partnership with parents and carers, providing opportunities throughout the year to promote home/school links.

 

We have set up this webpage to share information about our school with our local community and other people who want to find out about us.
